Duck Creek Flood

On August 4, 2009, the area had several inches of rain in a few hours and Duck Creek came out of its banks.  Here is a photo of the festival area taken that afternoon by Steve Collier, Smelly of the Baggy Bottom Boys.  Let's hope for dry weather from now until the festival.

August 19th

Stone piers are completed and floor framing in place.  Rumor has it that we will soon be hearing of the Baggy Bottom Boys Construction Company.  Catrina is NOT involved with this endeavour, except in a purely advisory capacity of course.  Suzy swears the only way this thing is ever going to be destroyed is if it sinks under the weight of its own materials. 

August 25

Floor is in place, all sawn cedar.  Roof framing started.

Rafters on and ready to start sheeting roof.
